Welcome to the Montrose Association of REALTORS®

Serving Colorado's Western Slope communities since 1962, the Montrose Association of REALTORS® represents real estate professionals and business partners across Montrose and Ouray counties, with members also serving Nucla, Norwood and Naturita.

Our Story

Our organization first began around 1962 as the Black Canyon REALTORS® Association, formed by local real estate leaders who recognized the value of working together to serve Western Colorado. As our communities grew from farming the Uncompahgre Valley to the peaks surrounding Ridgway and Ouray, we adopted the name Montrose Association of REALTORS® to reflect our regional home while honoring our deep roots in the Black Canyon country.

Who We Are

As a proud local organization within the Colorado Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, we unite local brokers, managing agents, and industry affiliate partners. Our members live and work here, bringing firsthand knowledge of rural parcels, residential neighborhoods, water rights, and mountain properties.
